Start Your Own Internet Business

Looking for a way to make money online but you don’t want to advertise, affiliate market or sell off your life on eBay? Well you may already have the skills you need to dump that 9-5 job and you don’t even realize it!

1. Do you have a special skill in a niche that people need but you don’t know how to reach them? If so there are many sites you can use to get the word out about the service you offer.

Starting with Elance here you can show off you web design skills or programing skills. If you can create software titles you can check out RentACoder.

Graphic designers there is a marketplace for you to, check out websites like Design Outpost and LogoWorks.

The great thing about these websites is that the customers will come to you. All you have to do is create a profile that describes your special skills and people in need of your service come to you.

2. Get paid to create content for websites and blogs. Content creation is HUGE on the Internet. It’s hard to find a quality ghost writer that can create unique content that is well written. I could use one just to correct all the bad grammar on this blog!

Many webmasters own blog networks and keeping fresh content updated on many blogs is tough. There are several forums and websites you can browse where you will find Ads from people looking for content creation. Check out the first method in this post for a list of websites.

3. This goes hand in hand with the content creation method we just talked about. If you are going to create fresh content for others why not start your very own blog network? If you can maintain 10 – 20 quality blogs with decent traffic webmasters will pay you to review their website on your blog.

4. Do you like taking pictures and are you good at it? If so there is a huge market for photographers on the Internet. You are probably already upload your pictures to Flickr and other similar websites for free so why not get paid for it!

There are several websites that you can upload your pictures to and be paid a commission every time someone downloads one of your photos. Several of the most popular websites that pay you for your images include Istockphoto, Fotolia, Dreamstime, Shutterstock, and Big Stock Photo.

5. Here is an idea I just thought of whiling writing number four. This kinda goes off track a little bit but I think it’s worth talking about. Everything these days is on CD or DVD including pictures right?

I am willing to bet you have tons of old pictures in photo albums that are beginning to deteriorate or will eventually. Why not start a business / website where I can send you my traditional photographs and you put them on a CD or DVD for me?

I can’t imagine the start up cost would be that high. All you would really need is a scanner, computer and CD’s or DVD’s. Shipping the photo’s could be expensive but this is something you could do for extra money on the side also.

6. I haven’t really seen this service offered online but how about offering a therapy service. I think many more people would go to a therapist if they didn’t actually have to “go” to the therapist. It’s kind of embarrassing walking into the office or telling someone you are going because they automatically think this guy is nuts.

You probably are not a certified therapist but why not offer an online service where you just talk to people with problems. Sometimes that’s all someone needs is an outlet to vent to. So you smack up a website offering your service to “Talk It Out” and put up a paypal button for 25.00 per 30 minutes and you are on your way.

These are just a few quick ways that you can make money online that are a little outside the box. The Internet is a huge endless resource for both sellers and buyers the key is finding your niche and sticking with it.
