Offsite Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Is A Must If You Ever Hope To Make Money Online

If you are not familiar with the term (Offsite Search Engine Optimization), you better learn as much as possible, if you ever intend on making money online. There really is not too much to understanding what it means, but to accomplish it at the highest level is a completely different process all together.

Essentially, all offsite SEO means is that you want to have as many relevant websites as possible placing one-way backlinks on their sites, pointing back to your site. In the sentence above you might have missed a very important expression in it, which was (One-Way).

Many years ago, when the major search engines started putting backlinks into their mathematical algorithms, it was fine to exchange links with other sites. But, they quickly caught onto that little trick, and now barely count an exchanged link at all. More than likely, in the future they will not give you any credit for them at all.

So, a one-way link is a site that points to your site, and your site does not point back to it. Now that you know that, how do you go about getting them, you must be asking yourself? Well, one method that used to work very good was to place comments on other people’s blog with a link back to your site.

However, the search engines also caught onto that one too, and created something called a (No-Follow) link. Essentially, blog owners can now hit a little button in their software that makes all links no-follow, which means that the search engines give them very little credence.

One way that you can still get backlinks that still work relatively good, although not nearly as well as it used to, is to write unique content and distribute it to article directories. The reason that is does not work as good as it used to, is that the search engines will only give you credit for the first article that they find, and not any others that you distribute, if they are exactly the same article.

Another approach that many people use, is to purchase multiple URL’s and put up blogs on them with the material pointing to their main money making site. This still works very good, except it is expensive to keep buying URL’s and hosting for each site. In addition, you need to update them with content all of the time, so that they rank well.

If you have gotten this far, you are probably starting to get a little discouraged when it comes to offsite SEO. If so, here are a few things that you can do that still work extremely well. First, there are blog networks that have 100’s if not 1,000’s of blogs in them, that you can exchange unique content that still work fantastic.

Second, there are quite a few software packages out there, which can and will help you get high quality one-way backlinks. If you want to make money online today, you will need to learn everything that you can about offsite search engine optimization (SEO).
