Tom Cruise has been using Adwords to advertise his up coming website. Check this out if you type in Tom Cruise into Google you will find two sponsored ADs for his website launch.

Now I doubt Tom Cruise has actually opened up an Adwords account but it’s shows that everyone needs help with promotion no matter how popular you are.

The ADs started to run after his latest appearance on Opera. You know the one where he was at some ski resort with her. How do I know, Stephanie was watching it and some how I was drawn in

So yeah, Tom Cruise wants to make money online too – lol. Now he is just getting greedy, because this is going to cut into our slice of the pie

Well, it’s been just over 2 months since Janel and I started targeting the keyword “make money online”. We haven’t done anywhere near as much SEO and article distribution as we would have liked due to the amount of work we have had.

I am a little surprised at how well we are ranking for the keyword phrase make money online. Before the PageRank update we were around 550th on Google, during the update we moved to 38th and now that the dust is settling we are at 26th.

As we all know Google SERPs are always fluctuating so we will see if this sticks. Hopefully we can keep pushing forward and hit the top ten which was our six month goal. It looks like we might get there a lot faster

This ranking was achieved purely from writing high quality unique content on a regular basis and using our article distribution/press release service.

Article marketing works if it’s done on a large scale people!

This is a pretty simple method that you can use to make money online with Youtube.

1. The first step is to obviously create an account on Youtube.

2. Search for hot new music videos at places like the top 100 Billboard chart.

3. Now you want to find that video online or at Youtube and “rip” it. In most cases this is not illegal and copyright issues will not be a problem.

4. It’s time to upload your video to Youtube. Make sure you use tags that are popular and searched for often for you video.

5. In the description field of your video the first thing you want to put is the URL to an affiliate offer. So if you are using a music video you probably want a ringtone or music related affiliate offer.

Use a redirect for your affiliate URL so it’s not long and ugly. Having an obvious affiliate URL will dramatically reduce the clicks of your link.

6. Last start using social bookmarking websites to push traffic to your video.

7. Rinse, wash and repeat.

If you think outside the box and get creative there are many other types of videos you can use. Any video that you can drive traffic to or one that will go viral has the potential to make money online.

The more videos you upload the better chance you have of making some serious money. Remember that your affiliate offer needs to be a good match for the niche your video is in so it converts well.

Please tell me why so many people cry about how hard it is to make money online? I see post after post from people complaining about how they are going to give up because it’s just to hard.

Listen up, making 500.00 – 1000.00 dollars online per day is getting towards tricky but still not that difficult.

The people that say making money online is hard are the one’s who are buying all these “get rich quick” schemes. Of course you can’t make money because you are spending it all!

Those are just a few quick ideas I am throwing out there. If there is one thing on that list you can do it’s writing content. Now I am going to show you how to turn any skill you may have into money online.

This is pretty over the top if you ask me but hey if you have it spend it. I’m not sure how Mukesh Ambani made his billions but I don’t think he did it online.

Any way he is number five of Forbes list of billionaires, yes you read that right. He is worth an estimated 43 billion and 22.9 of that was made in the last year alone!

Talk about having your A game in check. If I made 1 million dollars in the last year online I would be happy

I can’t remember if I touched on this or not so I am going to talk about how important a list is.

When you see someone say the “Money’s in the List” they are 100% correct. There is a huge about of money to be made by creating an opt in list. Just check out a few make money online products and I bet you that 99% of them have an opt in form on their page.

- First thing you want to do is choose your niche.

Remember that you don’t need to be in the make money online niche. There are tons of other profitable niches out there that are untapped and are ready to be monetized.

Once you have your niche find an affiliate product that you can sell to the list you are going to be creating. Now create a series of emails using an autoresponder that will be sent to your list on autopilot.

Creating a list is not that hard. There are several ways to go about doing this.

1. Adwords

2. Bum marketing through articles.

3. Giving away a product and having a link to an opt in form that offers a better product for free.

4. Join a “give away” and offer your product in exchange for contact information.

These are just a couple simple ideas to get you going. You can build multiple lists in multiple niches at the same time.

Once you have your autoresponders set up it’s pretty much on autopiolet. All you have to do is manage your Adwords campaign or what ever technique you are using to build your list.

This is in response to our first Skribit question “How do you rank 38th for make money online” already.

To be honest I had no idea we did and didn’t expect to rank that well so fast. It’s been about two months now since Janel and I started building backlinks.

We really haven’t had a chance to do much besides distribute two PressReleases and about 10 – 15 articles. Of course we do have a special technique we use that has always worked well but obviously we can’t go much further with that.

The good news is that we do offer the same exact service that we personally use to you. You can find the link right above this post labeled “SEO Service”.

You have a few options some include Press Releases and some without. There are also monthly subscription options which is what I suggest for those with long term SEO goals.

Anyway my sales pitch is over so I will give you a few tips. Onpage SEO plays a much bigger factor that many will lead you to believe.

1. The most important Meta tag is your “Title” tag. Make sure your main keyword phrase is in there.

2. Your description needs to be written for humans and make sure you don’t stuff it with keywords.

3. H tags especially the H2 tag seems to have a good amount of emphasis put on it.

4. The last text on your web page that the search engine reads should be you main keyword phrase in bold font.

Now these “tips” are nothing new or ground breaking. These are very basic SEO techniques that every webmaster should be using.

Fresh content or a regular basis, good onpage SEO and a smart link building strategy will have you on your way to ranking well. Now all that you need to patience and a little luck
