Today I was checking out Social Spark and it seems to fill a void in the market place. You can check out the video with more details here.

Basically what Social Spark does is connect you with other bloggers in your niche. You can then sell blog reviews for traffic or purchase a review of your blog from a blog in your niche.

Prices vary and don’t seem to be to high. My only problem with a website like this is how will Google treat it. We have all seen the big dogs blogs get penalties from Google for selling “reviews”.

If the reviews are solely for the purpose of creating brand awareness and use the nofollow tag you should be safe. I breifly browsed Social Spark to see if they had anything to say on this subject but I didn’t see it.

My advice would be to use this service with caution. At the very least I would make sure the person that is reviewing your blog adds the nofollow tag. Remember natural link building is the safest route to ensure you don’t get penalized.
