Google scientists have presented a paper outlining their plans for VisualRank. This ranking system is supposed to be similar to PageRank in that it will give images a ranking based on Google’s new image algorithm.
VisualRank is still in beta and has only been tested on a small set of images. Google says it will not apply VisualRank to images that are currently on the Internet due to the fact that it would be to labor intensive.
I can see it already, people selling image space on their website because they a have VisualRank of VR7. Start creating and finding those one-of-a-kind images so you can grab more Google juice!
