Google Uk turned it’s home page black today in an effort to raise awareness for “Earth Hour“. Earth hour is a worldwide energy conservation effort to reduce energy waste and global climate changes.
It’s pretty cool if you read about it on their main website here.
I hope the Google offices turn the lights out tomorrow at 8PM

I just learned about this today, blogged to promote it, and then decided to visit as many other blogs as I can that also posted. The Google support is a great idea — I hope we’ll see this in the U.S., too, after midnight.
